Swing into Spring
Spring is in the air, I feel it (even if it is still 30 degrees here). Plus, Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow this year, indicating spring is to arrive early (let any doubters be thrown into Phil's burrow to be eaten alive*)! In anticipation of the copious rays of sunlight that will soon shine upon us, a little spring wardrobe refresh is calling. To be clear, I desperately am in need of an update in dress pants for work. I am talking pants that don't keep their shape any more, faded, hem coming apart...honestly starting to feel like a character in Oliver Twist. I live in t-shirts on the weekends and outside of work. Ventured out with an atypical color for me.
Ordered in black and pink. Black, because well duh and pink, as a pop of color is always nice for spring!
Like my pants, the current cotton one I owned said to me "move on". Even though Jamie Sullivan was made fun of for wearing a cardigan in A Walk to Remember, we all know cardigans are needed in an office environment. Right ladies?
