Show Your Hands Some Love

If you are anything like me and wash your hands 10 plus times a day (stay away colds, flu, etc) and suffer from harsh office soap, I am sure your hands are in need of some TLC.  The ultimate LIFE SAVER for my hands in the winter is KIEHL'S Ultimate Strength Hand Salve:

Ultimate Strength Hand Salve

Ladies and gents (if I am so lucky to have any reading), if you have not tried the Kiehl's hand salve and you live in a region that experiences cold temperatures, you need to get your cringe to the touch, dry, cracked hands on this. Some of you have already clicked on the link below the picture and are probably rolling your eyes at the price. I know, it is way more than I would ever typically consider paying for hand cream, but let me say it is $16 well spent and a little goes a long way. Future tip - ask for it in your stocking next Christmas or use it as a "treat yo self" gift (Thank you Parks and Recreation).

Side note: can also be found at Nordstrom Rack and on Nordstrom Rack's website . Additional side note, you can use Ebates for extra cash back for both Kiehl's and Nordstrom Rack's sites. Also, this is not perfumy or flowery. Has a "neutral" smell for both women and men.

If this is still a no go for you, another option to check out is the Trader Joe's Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream.  At $4.99 its definitely a steal. I do say I have to use more at a time than the Kiehl's but in addition to the lower price, it is 3 oz rather than 2.5 oz. The smell leans on the "feminine" side but not too much, more of a refreshing, light smell. So on your next Trader Joe's adventure, be sure to walk down the "beauty" isle and grab one (or two).  Or you can purchase on Amazon for around $10.

Trader Joe's Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream - 20% Pure Shea Butter, Enriched with Hemp Seed Oil & Coconut Oil essential fatty acids, Paraben Free, skin-friendly Antioxidant Vitamins C & E, 3 oz.

Depending on what shape your hands are in, you may even consider using coconut oil for a deep moisturizing treatment. Before you get into bed, take a dime size amount of the oil and massage into your hands. When you awake in the morning, your hands should feel (almost) as soft as a baby's 😊. Here is a great brand I found on Amazon:

Anjou Coconut Oil, Organic Extra Virgin, Cold Pressed Unrefined for Hair, Skin, Cooking, Health, Beauty, USDA Certified, 11 oz

Would love to hear your opinions and what you use for your hands during these winter months! Feel free to share in the comments 😊
