A Few Extras

Hi! I "skipped" last week due to the Easter Holiday. Hope your Easter or Passover was a special, relaxing time spent with loved ones and celebrating the meaning and traditions of the holiday.  This week, I want to share a few "fun" go-to makeup items that can be worn everyday or added to your look for a special occasion.

Starting at the top of the picture with HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Bronzer. This is a game-changer.  I have tried my share of bronzers and this is THE BEST by far.   A makeup artist at Sephora applied this bronzer on me at a time when I was trying out different lipsticks. I could tell a difference instantly on my skin and loved what I saw.  This bronzer produces a wonderful glow; one I have not seen any other bronzer replicate. It is pricey, but definitely worth it. Believe me, after I first saw what it did to my skin, I still waited a year to purchase it.  However once I purchased, I have been extremely satisfied with it.  I have owned this Hourglass product for OVER A YEAR and maybe have now worked through half of the bronzer. You do not need a lot. It is amazing quality and the lightest shimmer and glow it will add, but a glow you can notice without being overdone.  There are four different shades and you will find one that will work with your skin tone. I use the Luminous Bronze Light shade which is ideal for light/medium complexions. If any questions, go to a Sephora location and ask a makeup artist to apply to your face to find which one is right for you. 😊  Click on the picture below for the Sephora link. Can also be found on Amazon.

Working clockwise, you will then see the Anastasia DIPBROW Pomade. This was first given to me as a birthday gift three years ago and I started using it instantly and have ever since. You can use any angled brush for application (again can find at Sephora). This product adds that extra "oomph" to your brows. Or it can be used when you really need to get your eyebrows waxed/threaded, but you haven't had the time. This is your secret weapon in having them look under control :) Another Sephora purchase that can again, be found on Amazon.  Medium Brown is my go-to shade as I have dark roots and it works for me whether my hair is dark or a lighter shade when I get highlights.

Last, but not least is the TOO FACED Better Than Sex Mascara. A friend recommended this and yes, it is wonderful. For a girl with naturally dark hair, one would think I would have some full, dark lashes, but alas, those were reserved for others around me, specifically males who seem to not care about their lashes (I believe God has a sense of humor).  This mascara does it all: volume, length, without being overly cakey. You can apply additional layers for a more dramatic look, especially depending on the occasion.

There you have it, the products I love putting on that add a bit of sparkle to my routine and face ☺ What are your favorite "fun" makeup products you use?  Would love to hear!

Thanks for taking the time to read! If any suggestions, please feel free to share.

❤ Jess
